This Sydney Harbour Bridge Tour has been carefully curated by a former Bridgeclimb climb leader/guide, having climbed the bridge over 300 times. A self-guided audio tour of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, it offers detailed information and Sydney Harbour Bridge facts, as well as entertaining stories and facts about the bridge and its construction.
This tour offers an insider's view into how the bridge was built, its cultural importance, and the sacrifices made to build this impressive structure.
Listen to the stories of The Sydney Harbour Bridge
The self-guided audio+puzzle tour is an entertaining and informative way to learn about the Bridge and admire the views at a fraction of the cost of other similar experiences. Listen to the stories of construction, engineering and the drama that unfolded while the bridge was being built.
Outdoor 'escape-room' style puzzles
As you explore, you will also solve puzzles which will encourage you to interact with your surroundings throughout The Rocks area. It might be deciphering the secret codes hidden in the granite pylons, uncovering the names of workers who fell to their demise during construction, or figuring out the hidden messages on information panels!
Note that puzzles range in difficulty (just like a regular escape room), so they are suitable for both teenagers (8 and up) and adults.
5 Tour Stops of the Harbour Bridge
-
Sydney Harbour Bridge history, from before it was build to present day
- Detailed information on the engineering and construction
- Life in The Rocks before the Bridge was built
- The Bridge's Opening Ceremony and surrounding controversies
- The cultural impact of the bridge on Sydney and Australia
Note: This tour finishes at the entrance to the Pylon Lookout on the pedestrian walkway. We recommend finishing the tour by going up the pylon for one of the best views in Sydney (pylon entry fee isn't included in this tour price). You can take your own camera and photos up there (unlike when you climb the bridge).
Walking over the Sydney Harbour Bridge is free, yet entry to the pylon lookout at the southern end costs $25 for adults, and $12 for children. We recommend this as it offers great views of the harbour at a fraction of the cost of climbing the bridge.

The puzzles are fun and the clues are great, especially as there are differing levels of clues and differing levels of hints. Informative tour. The company went above and beyond to ensure we were able to get this product in time. Great service.
We enjoyed the walking tour very much and learned a lot along the way . The puzzles were fun too !
Audio was itneresting, good stories and information, puzzles were challenging but fun (even for us as adults!), a big plus was the hotel drop off. We booked it before our flight and when we got to our hotel it was there waiting for us. So easy.
