Self-guided Audio Tour
An extremely rare surfboard has been stolen from the busy seaside town of Manly while the surfer was grabbing a coffee from a local cafe.
The surfboard is very valuable and is owned by a local surfer named Henry. Local police think that the crime was part of an international crime syndicate who have stolen it, and so requested extra help from from the best detective around - you.
You'll have to go and speak with Henry, and investigate around the Manly, area to find out who stole the surfboard - and where they might be heading with it. But be quick - we can't let them escape the country with Henry's rare surfboard!
Outdoor Escape-Room with Audiobook Quality Commentary
This self-guided outdoor escape-room is an entertaining and fun way to see the Manly area and explore the different parts of this beautiful seaside area. It will take about 1.5 hours to complete the puzzles and walk the route, with each puzzle revealing where the next location is!
Escape-Room Style Puzzles to Solve
As you explore, you will also solve puzzles with the help of Officer Parkers via the mobile app. The puzzles will encourage you to interact with your surroundings as well as reveal fantastic views of the beach and the harbour.
When you arrive at each location, our GPS-enabled app will present you with new information or clues to help you solve the next puzzle. You might be deciphering the secret codes hidden on buildings, uncovering the names of the criminal mastermind who's stolen the surfboard, or looking around the surf clubs to figure out what items are missing - we need your skills to solve the puzzles detective!
The puzzles range in difficulty just like an indoor escape room, so are suitable for both teenagers (7 and up) and adults.

Do I need the internet access while I'm doing the tour?
99% of the content is available offline once you have downloaded the tour within the app.
Tour content that is available offline includes:
- Audio commentary + transcriptions

Tour content that is not available offline includes:
- Our Vision360's (3D photos that allow you to look around)
- The image on the puzzle success popup
We are currently working towards 100% of the tour content being available offline. If you don't have internet access on your phone, you are still able to download the tour content prior to the tour and complete the tour and the puzzles.
Do you offer phones or devices for hire?
No, at this time we do not offer devices for hire.
Does everyone need their own phone and headphones?
So you can hear the commentary clearly, it is recommended that everyone has their own phone. We also recommend headphones so you can hear clearly, but you can also hold your phone to your ear or use the phone speaker if that suits you better - we often do this when testing our tours to make sure that it is able to be heard.
